The Center’s objectives:
- Preserve and support existing and new shared ownership housing to achieve cohesive and democratic ownership structures with emphasis on preventing displacement on long-time residents.
- Provide a central place for the ideation and formation of shared ownership communities as a viable and economical form of homeownership.
- Develop networks among shared ownership communities, experienced professionals, and organizations dedicated to advancing policies and advocating for shared ownership models
- Raise awareness among community stakeholders, funders, and decision-makers about the benefits and strategic value of shared ownership housing models.
